This year the Winnipeg Tenpin Bowling Association’s / MBA 108th Annual Tournament had 200 entries, up from 176 from the previous Annual Tournament. The tournament was held at Chateau Bowling Lanes on November 22nd and 23rd, 2025.
For this bowling season again, all the WTBA tournaments will have the added prize money doubled.
The Winnipeg Tenpin Bowling Association would like to thank all the staff at Chateau Bowling Lanes for their courteous service during our Tournament. Thanks to Ron Molinski the tournament director and especially Elaine Yamron that did an awesome job with the entries and collecting the entry fees. Also to Doug Ross, Edwin Garing and Ann Evangelista that came out to get familiar on how to run a tournament..
Thanks to all that participated in our Tournament, without your participation it would not have been the success that it was. Congratulations to all the Tournament winners.
Clem Perreault and Nikaya Bautista both will receive a paid entry into either the Allan Boes Memorial or the 5-Diviaional Scratch (next Season) for winning the All Events Handicap.
Israel Potter and Kristen Jolly will receive from the MBA, funding assistance towards either the Marinelli City Singles, Manitoba Open or the CTF Canadian Team Trials (next season) for winning the All Events Scratch.
This season we used a different bowling tournament program to record all scores. It is called TournamentBowl.com and this way, as soon as the scores are entered, the bowling community can go on line and see the standings. It is well received from all.
The lowest game of the whole tournament was by two bowlers at 64, highest game was 278, lowest series was 242 and the highest series was 771.
The WTBA A& H “Strike out Cancer” Doubles Baker format is being held on February 14, 2026 at Bowl Below Bowling Lanes at 9:30 AM. and 1:30 PM.
The WTBA Allan Boes Singles and the 5 Divisional (bowled simultaneously) is being held at SDQ LaVerendrye Bowling Lanes on February 22, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
The Marinelli (March 7-8, 2026) held on the first day at Chateau Bowling Lanes starting at 3:00 PM and the second day is at SDQ LaVerendrye Bowling Lanes at 9:30 AM. This will be the seventh year that both Men, Women and Youth over 15 will be competing for the City Singles.
The Eric – Eleanor Young Memorial is being held on March 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM and March 14, 2026 at 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM at SDQ LaVerendrye Bowling Lanes.
The WTBA Beat Your Average Tournament is on March 22, 2026 at SDQ LaVerendrye Bowling Lanes at 9:30 AM.

Additionally, as part of this tournament, there was a Seniors Qualifying component. They were trying to qualify to be our representatives to the USBC Seniors Championships being held in 2026 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Congratulations to the qualifiers:
