WTBA Annual – 2023
The Winnipeg Tenpin Bowling Assoc. / MBA 105th Annual Tournament
This year the Winnipeg Tenpin Bowling Association’s / MBA 104th Annual Tournament had 84 entries down from 188 in the 2020 Tournament.
The tournament was held at Chateau Bowling Lanes.
The Winnipeg Tenpin Bowling Association would like to thank all the staff at Chateau Bowling Lanes for their courteous service during our Tournament. Thanks to Ron Molinski the tournament director, Wanda Howard, Elaine Yamron, Pat Wight, Peter Wight, Lynda Seewald, Doug Ross, Dan Tereck, and Jay Doe that came out to help run the Tournament without you it would not have run as smoothly as it did.
Thanks to all that participated in our Tournament, without your participation it would not have been the success that it was. Congratulations to all the Tournament winners. Please see below for all the details. Adelfo Sayson and Lynne Gauthier both receive a paid entry into either the Allan Boes Memorial or the 5-Divisional Scratch (next season) for winning the All Events Handicap. Doug Ross and Lynne Gauthier will receive funding assistance to either the Marinelli City Singles, Manitoba Open or the CTF Canadian Team Trials (next season) from the MBA for winning the All Events Scratch.
The A& H “Strike out Cancer” Doubles is being held on February 11 at SDQ LaVerendrye Bowling Lanes with 2 shifts – 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.
The WTBA Allan Boes Singles and the 5 Divisional (bowled simultaneously) is being held at Chateau Lanes on February 19 at 11:00 AM.
The Marinelli City Singles (Mar 11-12) held on the first day at SDQ LaVerendrye Bowling Lanes starting at 12:30 PM and the second day is at Chateau Bowling Lanes at 10:00 AM. This will be the fourth year that both Men, Women and Youth over 15 will be competing for the City Singles.
The Eric & Eleanor Young Memorial Tournament is being held on March 18 at 12:30 PM and March 19 at 11:00 AM at Chateau Bowling Lanes.
The WTBA 200 Club Mixed Invitational is on April 16th at Chateau Bowling Lanes.
