Winnipeg Tenpin Bowling Association and Manitoba Bowling Association Annual Tournament
Official Results
The Winnipeg Tenpin Bowling Association would like to thank again the B’nai Brith Canada for being the major sponsor of our 102nd Annual Tournament. Especially Adriana Glikman for all her hard work. Adriana also would like to that all that brought non perishable food items for the less fortunate in our community.
This year the Winnipeg Tenpin Bowling Association’s / MBA 102nd Annual Tournament had 208 entries up from 200 last year.
The tournament was held over 3 weekends at SDQ LaVerendrye Bowling Lanes.
The Winnipeg Tenpin Bowling Association would like to thank all the staff at SDQ LaVerendrye Bowling Lanes for their courteous service during our Tournament. Thanks to Ron Molinski the tournament director, Wanda Howard, Elaine Yamron, Eleanor Young, Stephen Logan, Helen Fenk, Pat Wight, Lynda Seewald, Phil Haaksma, Marshall Nykoluk, Kathleen Yaworski and Doug Ross that came out to help run the Tournament without you it would not have run as smoothly as it did.
Thanks to all that participated in our Tournament, without your participation it would not have been the success that it was. Please checkout the pictures from the tournament. Congratulations to all the Tournament winners. Please see below for all the details. Gary Biala and Edna Agapito both receive a paid entry into either the Allan Boes Memorial or the 5-Divisional Scratch (next season) for winning the All Events Handicap. Doug Ross and Sharon Tataryn will receive funding assistance to either the Manitoba Open or the CTF Canadian Team Trials (next season) from the MBA for winning the All Events Scratch.
Our next tournament is the Marinelli (Mar 17-18) held on the first day at SDQ LaVerendrye Bowling Lanes starting at 1:00 PM and the second day is at Chateau Bowling Lanes at 10:00 AM. This will be the third year that both Men and Women will be competing for the City Singles.
The A& H “Strike out Cancer” Doubles is being held on April 15th at Chateau Bowling Lanes with 2 shifts – 10:00 AM and 12:00 noon.
The WTBA 200 Club Mixed is on April 7th at SDQ LaVerendrye Bowling Lanes at 12:00 AM and 2:00 PM
