Congratulations to our winner –Earl Sobotkiewicz – next year Earl receives a free entry into the tournament to defend his championship.
Peter Wight our last year’s champion did not defend his title as he could not bowl.
The entries were up this year, from 27 last year to 28 this year. The Winnipeg Tenpin Bowling Association added $200.00. WTBA added $150.00 to the prize money and $50.00 to the bowler who bowled the high game with handicap. We also had a no show and the entry fee was added to the prize money, so the prize money was $180.00.
Christy Young (212+86=298) and Marshall Nykoluk (260+38=298) tied for the high game plus handicap so each will be receiving $25.00.
As you can see by the games bowled that the best of the best were out representing their league. Great bowling by everyone. The lowest game of the tournament was 58 and the highest was 260.
