The 200 Club / Beat Your Average Tournament was held on Sunday, April 16 at Chateau Lanes.

And for the first time, we restructured the tournament to a “Beat Your Average” format. Your final standings were based on the number of pins that you beat your entering average. Also, to provide the staff with enough time to enter bowler information and to start on time, for this tournament we had asked bowlers to pre-register and cut off registration 1/2 hour prior to the start of each shift. I’m happy to report that almost all of the bowlers had pre-registered with only 2-3 walk-ins. Our apologies to the two bowlers we had to turn away after registration had closed.

In total, there were 35 bowlers.

Thanks to the staff at Chateau Lanes, as well as Doug Ross, Patricia and Peter Wight, Jay Doe, Ron Molinski, and Wanda Howard (Tournament Director) for running the tournament. This was the first time in a long while that Ron was able to actually watch some of the bowling without being stuck behind the registration desk.
